Dean Bancroft is an Artist from Manchester.

Most of his current work is based around commissions; therefore having a large variety of artwork ranging from abstract to realism; sometimes a captivating combination of the two.

Dean particularly enjoys creating large headshot portraits with an element of both abstract and realism using different textured mediums, creating a fascinating spin on an original painting.

Dean has always been Artistic as a child. Upon leaving school, he went into Engineering for 12years. Throughout this time he never stopped sketching, doodling and everything he’s ever done has always been to the best of his ability. He believes if you are going to complete a task, completing it half heartedly simply doesn’t match his work ethics. He believes that the only limitations are the ones you set yourself.

It was only when lockdown happened in March 2020 that Dean decided to get in touch with his creative side again and so began painting on canvas’ 

In April 2020, he decided to bite the bullet and pursue his love of Art. Besides having a true, genuine passion throughout the formation of the work, he didn’t quite realise what a profound impact it would have had on his audience.
